- The Unlucky Bachelor One of our locksmiths was called to a bachelor’s pad where the client had locked himself out. As the locksmith was unlocking the door, he noticed something odd. The client had a life-sized poster of his ex-girlfriend taped to the back of the door. The locksmith couldn’t help but quip, “Looks like she’s still keeping you locked out, huh?”
- The Suspicious Spouse Another time, we were called to a home where a spouse suspected their partner of cheating. The suspicious spouse wanted to gain access to their partner’s locked room to search for evidence. The locksmith had to remind them that breaking and entering was not part of our services!
- The Sticky Situation One of our locksmiths was called to a home where a curious toddler had inserted a lollipop into the lock. The parent was worried that the lock was damaged and needed to be replaced. But after a little bit of ingenuity and some careful extraction, the locksmith was able to remove the sticky obstruction and save the lock.
- The Loyal Pet We’ve had a few cases where loyal pets have accidentally locked their owners out. One time, we were called to a home where a dog had jumped up against the door and accidentally locked it shut. The locksmith couldn’t resist making a joke, “Looks like your pooch is a better guard dog than we thought!”
